NPI shipped four tanks, each with a capacity of 760 m3, to Betulia, Jalisco, in Mexico. Renowned for its world-class greenhouses producing top-quality tomatoes and peppers year-round, the client sought to ensure consistent irrigation water supply for their facilities. Consequently, four tanks were installed, with two dedicated to providing fresh water and the other two for storing fertilised water. With a diameter of 14.63 meters and a height of 4.57 meters, these tanks offer ample storage capacity for a two-day period.
In pursuit of additional strength, the water tanks were manufactured from 1.0 mm thick steel, while for the liner ENPEX FPP 0.75 mm was utilised. The client further completed the tanks by installing a tensioned anti-algae cover to prevent the growth of algae.
