Pond liners for two new ponds
At a holiday park in North Brabant, two new ponds were constructed. NPI, in partnership with Joosten Groep, was responsible for the installation of the pond liner. A few years ago, we lined the first pond at the park. Now, our welding team returned to install over 4000 m² of pond liner in the two new ponds.
Optimal layout of film panels
Since the ponds have curved shapes, it was a challenge to determine how many film panels were needed to cover the surfaces neatly and effectively. Our technical specialist carefully mapped out the ponds and created a logical layout for the liner sheets. Ultimately, our team at the production hall in Tzummarum produced 9 film panels of various sizes. Our production facility allows us to prefabricate the panels under perfect conditions.
Installation on-site
After production, the film panels were transported to the holiday park, where our installation team welded 6 panels in one pond and 3 panels in the other, ensuring perfect seams for a watertight result. We then installed the outlets.
Addition to the park
After installation, the contractor applied a layer of sand on top of the liner. The sand protects the liner, helps keep the liner in place and promotes natural integration with the surroundings, such as allowing plants to grow on it. In this way, the ponds become a natural part of the park, ready to provide years of enjoyment and enhance the park’s appearance!
