On behalf of a technical design and consulting firm in the steel sector, NPI customised and supplied film for the purpose of a roof for a waste collection and centre de recyclage in Hamburg. It is the first of this concept in Germany, a fully roofed recycling centre, sheltering the storage containers. The structure consists of about 110 tons of thermally galvanised steel and 2,700 m² of film.
NPI was involved in the development of this application and choice of materials from the design phase. Transport-wise, it was quite a challenge to get the construction on site, but it all worked out well!
