For a large worm farm in Zeeland, NPI has covered dozens of culture basins with film over the past decade. This farm has 15 outdoor breeding facilities on the Oosterschelde for growing ragworms, which it exports to nurseries all around the world.
NPI got involved in the worm farm quite a few years back. Over time, we have phased 15 concrete reservoirs of 450 metres lined with 1.0 mm LDPE film. And there is more work to come in the near future! The company continues to grow because of the increasing demand for the worms they grow. Four additional breeding ponds were already built a couple of years ago and more basins will follow.
