Anchoring trees
To optimise the growth of a young tree, tree tie can be used to connect the tree to tree stakes to secure it properly. The tree tie anchors the root ball, protecting newly planted trees from strong winds and rain. It ensures that the tree grows upright and that the roots can develop optimally.
Why jute tree tie?
In (public) green projects and nurseries, there is a growing demand for organic binding materials, with the focus at sustainability and environmental awareness. Jute tree tie is completely biodegradable, resulting in both environmental and labor savings. You don’t need to remove the ties; they can be left on the tree.
Specifications
You can leave the jute tree tie untouched during the first two growing seasons. These seasons are necessary for the tree to become sufficiently anchored. Then, in the third season, the tree tie begins to decompose until it is eventually fully absorbed by nature.
We supply the tree tie on rolls that are 25 meters long and 7 cm wide. You can order the tie per roll or per bale (containing 40 rolls). The jute tree tie is double-woven and extra strong; in terms of tensile strength, it is nearly equivalent to car strapping tree tie or rubber tree tie. The tie features yellow-black stripes. You can secure the jute tree tie with tree tie nails. We recommend folding the end of the tie before nailing it down. This helps prevent the tie from tearing.
