Application
Tying tube is an ideal product for binding trees to frames, poles and sticks. It is often used in tree nurseries and in fruit growing.
Quality
Our tying tubes are UV stabilised and are available in various qualities. Thanks to its elastic properties, the material moves with the plant and the binding tube does not cut into the stem, which avoids hindering the growth of the tree. Our binding tube is available in thicknesses of 2.5 mm to 8 mm, in black and various shades of green. After fixing, the binding tube will last at least as long as the branch/tree requires support.
Packaging
On rolls, in plastic bags, in balls or in nets: NPI offers tying tube in many different packaging types.
NPI also supplies accessories such as finger knives and binding tube carrying bags.
Biodegradable tying tube
We have recently launched a range of biodegradable tying tubes, which are made from APINAT™ bioplastic. The real challenge is developing a tying tube that is both biodegradable and as strong and flexible as traditional tying tube. We are proud to introduce such a type of BIO tying tube!
Biodegradable tying tube binds in the same way as traditional tying tube and also has the same elasticity and strength. Wat are the other features of our BIO tying tube?
- It lasts approximately 12 – 18 months on the plant. After that, it does not decompose – it is not sensitive to light and moisture – but it becomes less stretchable and weaker.
- Fully decomposes in the soil within 6 months.
- Available in green, brown and white colour
- Available in a thickness of 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm and 5 mm (100 meter per roll)
- Made of APINAT™ bioplastic
