Over the course of the past sixteen years, NPI has been a supplier of 125 water silos to a highly regarded tomato cultivator in Tunisia. The continuous expansion of the company’s operations and the geological obstacles it encounters mean that frequently new NPI water tanks found their way to the cultivator.
As a prominent player in global tomato cultivation and export, our client has evolved from a modest 5-hectare company in the late 1980s to a substantial total area of approximately 43 hectares over the last thirty years. Notably, the recent addition of 15 hectares of greenhouses has contributed to a nearly constant demand for water tanks. The challenging geological conditions further characterize this grower’s operational landscape. The desert terrain, with its elevated salt concentration, accelerates the oxidation of steel, creating a large replacement market.
