NPI is an exclusive Chikamasa dealer for the European market. For more than a century, the Japanese Chikamasa company has produced shears for garden use, but which are primarily used by professionals. Our dealers supply our high-quality Chikamasa shears to growers, cultivators, garden centres and florists across Europe.

Picking shears

Chikamasa shears are available for many different applications. Our range primarily consists of high-quality picking and pruning shears. The models with various lengths, thicknesses and blade shapes all have specific applications. These include pruning vegetables, flowers, bonsai thinning and taking cuttings. The various shear types are designed so they can be used carefully and efficiently. This prevents damage to fruits or leaves.

Pruning shears

NPI also supplies a number of sturdy Chikamasa pruning shears. These are perfect for all regular pruning work and for picking fruit, vegetables and flowers.

Loppers

Chikamasa has further expanded its range with high-quality loppers. These robust loppers effortlessly cut through the thickest branches, while the use of high-quality carbon ensures a lightweight design that feels comfortable in the hand, even during prolonged use. Additionally, the loppers feature a special fluorine coating, making them resistant to resin and keeping them clean during work. The Chikamasa loppers are available in two lengths: 45 cm and 65 cm.

Quality

Chikamasa is synonymous with quality. The shears are all fitted with razor-sharp blades, so the cut edges are also very sharp. Several models are fitted with a special spring that makes pruning even lighter. All models have one thing in common: the ergonomic hand grips with rubber anti-slip coating are still comfortable to hold after hours of use. Chikamasa shears are all perfectly designed examples of craftsmanship, suitable for hours of cutting.
